Story of our member celebrating 40 years as a Lion. 29th March 2016.

Today 40 years ago a young man was inducted into The Lions Club of Hornsby, full of enthusiasm after he got involved in Lions Christmas Cakes, and the difference this project could make to those in need.

Barry Palmer had dreams..... "What if".....that through this great organisation, the world could and would be a better place, and Barry never gave up. He followed his dream serving through his club, district, national and international, becoming International President in 2013/2014. And still, Barry is convinced there is more to the dream, serving in whatever way is required.

Along the long path is Anne, first as Lions Lady and then as a Lion. "Together we can do so much". Thank you Anne for your support along the way.

Barry, congratulations on your 40th year Monarch. On behalf of the Lions Club of Hornsby, we salute you. Thank you for who you are and all you do
